By default, the initial estimated shipping cost you see in your shopping cart is based on air shipment to the United States (USA). The system will indicate your actual shipping cost once you checkout and before you commit to the purchase. Generally, shipping to the UK and other Western European countries is slightly more expensive than to the USA. And shipping to Australia and New Zealand is slightly less expensive than to the USA. The shipping cost does not cover any local taxes, import duties, or customs clearance costs levied by your government. The buyer is responsible for these import-related costs. Selecting Self-Pickup means you will use your own freight forwarder or your company's courier account to ship your orders. This is a good option for buyers who have regular shipments leaving from Hong Kong. You pay the cost of shipping directly to your delivery agent and a small warehouse handling fee to Global Sources Direct. If you choose this, we would contact you to get your freight forwarder's company name, contact person, and address or your courier account number to arrange the pickup of your shipment from our Hong Kong warehouse. The benefits of choosing Self-Pickup:
You can select your shipping option on the Checkout page. If you select Self-Pickup from Hong Kong, our customer service officer will contact you within 1-2 business days to coordinate the pickup from our Hong Kong warehouse. A small warehouse handling fee will be charged. Your goods will be shipped three (3) to four (4) business days after the payment has cleared. It will take another three (3) to five (5) business days for delivery. Total delivery time, including preparation time for shipments and shipping time, is typically up to ten (10) business days. A Shipping Confirmation e-mail will be sent to you advising you of your air waybill number once your shipment has been dispatched. Ordering products on Global Source Direct is a simple, straightforward process. First, search for the products you want to buy, read their product profiles, add them to your shopping cart, and then register with us to complete the rest of your online shopping process. All products displayed on Global Sources Direct are available for immediate purchase unless otherwise stated. Please note some products do have lead times, and we have noted them in their product profiles. Please allow up to 7 working days for some products. Products that are out of stock are still displayed but have a clear "restock alert" message on them. For products with "restock alert" messages, kindly send us an email to gsdservice@globalsourcesdirect.com to advise us of your serious interest. Finally, we have a category called "Archived Products”. This category contains all the products that were previously active and had stock. You may still order from this category, but kindly allow for a longer lead time since they will be made to order by our vendors. Lead times can range from as few as three (3) days to as many as seven (7) days. Should you wish to purchase more than the available quantities shown online, please send us an email to volumesales@globalsourcesdirect.com. We will follow up accordingly, and if the quantity you want to buy is large enough, you will get a volume discount. It is the buyer's responsibility to understand the import requirements and restrictions in his/her own country before committing to an order. Global Sources Direct cannot be responsible for items held by the recipient's Customs for whatever reason. Our Customer Services team is happy to answer any questions you may have regarding a product's specifications or certifications to help you decide whether the item is suitable for import into your country or not. We endeavor to source only products that have full certification (CE, UL, FCC, RoHS, etc), however, there are some products that do not require it. We fully disclose product certifications in their respective product profiles. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) The minimum order quantity is 1 case per order, and we have no maximum order quantity. You may order as few or as many as you want. We select these products weekly from our online store and reliable vendors. From our pool of featured products, we will further select products for special promotions and products of the week which we will send out to you in electronic direct mails (eDMs) and posted online under "Featured Products". These products,volume pricing, production lead times, and delivery dates are renegotiated with our suppliers so you can receive the products faster and at a lower cost. We will inform you of our promotion period in order for you to pre-order the products you want at the quantity you want. We then aggregate the orders, give them to our factory, do 100% quality control, and ship them out to you less than 14 days later. Therefore, as a smaller volume buyer, you can effectively buy direct from China through Global Sources Direct. You save money because the prices we give you are based on large quantity orders. As a result, you get excellent products with shorter lead times and great pricing that you can then turnover quickly at a good margin without carrying excessive inventory. Regularly scheduled shipments will be publicized on our website. Please check our schedule for future shipping dates. You’ll receive your orders within 38 days of payment. Processing and shipping preparations take up to 12 days, followed by 21 days in ocean transit. Then, customs clearance and shipping to your exact location can take as many as 5 days. Your total payment to us will contain a VAT and import duty payment of 25% of the total product value , so that we can handle all customs clearance issues for you. If import duties are less than 25% of the product price, we will refund the difference to you. EU Ocean Shipping is not a standard shipping option available through our website. To place an order, select products from our online store, note the SKUs and quantities that you want, and then send the information to EUshipping@globalsourcesdirect.com. Our customer service representative will contact you to confirm the total cost and process the order. After your order ships out from Hong Kong, we will email you with the appropriate scheduling details. However, you may wish to look at some of the larger items (provide link if possible) we have that are more suitable for ocean shipping. Yes, the size of your order must be at least 0.05CBM, or 50kg. All of the same payment options still apply: credit card, Paypal, or T/T. Shipping insurance at a rate of 0.25% the product value will be added to the freight cost. If the shipment arrives damaged, partially lost, or doesn’t arrive at all, a claim will be made to the insurance company for compensation with a US$250 deductible. Account Information

As the password is case sensitive, you may want to cut and paste it from the original email. Remember to delete any additional spaces. No, you cannot use your Global Sources login name and password on Global Sources Direct. Because we value the unique demands of our customers compared to GSOL users, we use a different database system in order to provide more focused and specific services. You must register again on GSD, and once registered, your profile and account history will be stored in our database. Customers may return products to us within 15 days of receipt if products are defective. Please contact our Customer Service department at gsdservice@globalsourcesdirect.com with details of the problem and to get a Returned Authorization Number (RMA) before returning the items back to us. Customers are advised to check all of their products and packing upon receipt of delivery within 30 days, which is DHL's claim period.
